He'll be 25 by the time someone buys him. That's a fact.
You just have to look at the types/number of clubs in for him. Crystal Palace have never paid £40m for a player, they signed Mateta for 20m and 50k a week. West Ham are bigger spenders but it's one thing paying big money for someone like Paqueta who was a big name linked with big clubs, vs our 4th choice CF.
While I won't deny we're underwhelming sellers, I think history proves that there's a level of delusion with the way Arsenal fans value their scrubs. Given his underwhelming performance so far, the only reason to rate Eddie as a £40m striker is if you frame as 'a young (25yr old) striker with a lot of potential' and get 2 to 3 good clubs in for him. That would have been a lot easier if he had managed to bag 10+ goals this season rather than 1 every 236 mins.
