Simons would be preferable but my ideal would be Olise + some left wingfielder of some sort. That way we can also move Trossard centrally full-time. Ideally it would be Simons but maybe Doue is fine. Olise is almost certainly the second best attacking player that will be transferred this summer, in my opinion. So he would be the priority if I was calling the shots.

Yes Olise is quality - I recon he goes to City though.

We are starting to get linked to more attacking playmaker types. Marcus Edwards today, who would provide competition and back up to Saka although I’m not sure he’s a ceiling raiser.

I love Simons. Has such energy on the ball coupled with creative output.

I also like Eze though I’m not sure he has the work ethic.

Brahim Diaz is another of really like. Creative and has played at the highest level. He could play alongside Odegaard or as an alternative to him.

Sesko staying maybe lets us allocate our transfer budget more effectively for next season, as he is young and raw and likely wouldn't have contributed much until early 2025 (at the earliest).

But it is disappointing to me if you look more in the medium term. We do need a profile like his in the squad, and grabbing a striker of his potential at around £50m would have been excellent value. Oh well.

He was second choice but this season got a feel of first team football. No doubt was probably gutted being left out of the CL final. Courtois is 32, he still has a few years in him imo. Will Lunin happily just sit on the bench waiting?

Lunin has a year left on his contract so I'm going to just go ahead and assume this is his agent trying to put some pressure on Real to give him a new deal.
