goon I wish Henry had stayed here his whole career. I'm not a callous monster though.
Qwiss it all went really sour that last season with us, shame it ended the way it did - the best player in our history deserved better than to go out like that. He must have been so happy to get the fairytale return in 2012.
RocktheCasbah he was forced to play through injury. Would have still been one of our best players the following season if he'd stayed and been allowed to recover properly.
Things started going south after we moved to the Emirates. We struggled to manage that change. We just never had enough money to sustain our team and pay the stadium debts under a conservative leadership. That’s whatever to us falling out with various players that we should’ve had never-ending love for
Gundogan available for a cut priced deal. Anyone?
Clrnc
Would just steal all of Ethan's mins. No thanks.

All 50-100 of his PL mins?
goon
Is Ethan going to win us the CL this season?
You don’t turn your noses when a serial winner and clutch king like Gundo becomes available.
If anything, Ethan can learn a lot from him.
goon I’d also rather take the risk on Ethan than bring in the Gundogan guarantee. We have enough quality in the team if we get Merino. We need some growth stocks
Big Willie
It all counts. I reckon he'll play more than that if game states allow, but 50-100 mins is the gateway to progressively increasing that.
Yes - particularly if we can arrange a loan. I don't want him back at City
You guys spend all your time moaning about how our youth prospects get no mins and then advocate signing a 34yr olds in their position.
Ethan will learn a hell of a lot more from actual mins. In the meantime we have plenty of others who can win us the CL.

Pretty sure that's when guys like Elneny were being brought on in the 80th min of our 3-0 leads.
there is no way ethan and his advisors would look at a 34 yr old (not that i advocate signing one) as blocking him.
The problem is even if Gundogan comes, it will have no impact on Ethan minutes. There will be many players Arteta trusts over Ethan at this stage.
Clrnc it will absolutely have an impact. That’s one more guy who plays 2000 minutes to accommodate. It means we will be playing Gundogan or Partey or Merino in the carabao cup at 8 plus Jorginho at 6 to give people minutes. Take away one of those guys, and you suddenly have some openings for Ethan.
Claudius I mean we all hope Arteta will change this season but as past history shown, even without Gundogan here he will probably start Partey Jorginho and Vieira for Carabao or dead rubber UCL matches before bring Saka Odegaard and Rice on in the last 20 minutes.
Clrnc the difference is Ethan is a high potential player. The kid has quality pouring out of his veins. Watch videos of the players talking about him. I’ve never seen them talk this way about other young / fringe players in the last few years. You don’t just make space for all the random academy players people have been saying Arteta should play while we chase titles. But a guy like Ethan who could be a Saka or Fabregas level player, you make a plan.
We should try for Kvaratskhelia, Conte will stifle him
Anyone get the feeling we may move for Toney?
lorddulaarsenal No.
lorddulaarsenal Zero chance. Arteta hates his guts and rightly so.
Hes a mercenary, not a winner.
