I like our forwards individually but I'm not a fan as a collective due to the lack of pace. We saw last season we needed to play in the opposition half in order to create chances, looked almost toothless when we sat/got pinned back. Forwards with pace, trickery/good dribbling ability and an eye for goal could take this team to another level.
I like Merino and hope this deal goes through. I remember watching him and Zubimendi quite often and thinking, we are frequently linked with the latter but this Merino guy seems to be every bit as good (even though they play different positions).
