  • Manchester United v Arsenal - Sunday May 12th - 1630 PM GMT

Merson reckons Spurs are throwing their league game and will probably cheer a City goal and I have to agree. Maybe I am completely wrong but I don't think they'll give it their all even if Villa drop points against Liverpool. Ask any serious Spurs fan if they'd take the CL in return for gifting Arsenal the league and I don't think would and their players will know it, the atmosphere is gonna be all kinds of fucked.

Regardless, they'll likely get battered even if they do enter the game honest.

Of course. Spurs fans are among the pettiest there are.

Hopefully it’s enough of a mind fuck for City.

Hopefully, City players are so busy doing mental mathematics to figure out the goals they need to score, that they get distracted and lose the Spurs game.

It would, ha, be quite Spursy of them to win the one game this season they really don't want to. But no, I won't even watch on Tuesday - absolutely pointless.

Claudius don't think it makes any difference. If Spurs had got a result in one or two of their recent losses there might still be a chance of 4th but it's out of reach now with so few games left and 5th is safe. They'll physically turn up to the game because they have to but that's all.

United did really well today. They were brave and pushed up and created good pressure. But we are a better team, so our midfield really disappointed me. We should’ve been able to keep pressing them and countering against their high line. The whole midfield just lacked purpose and the instinct to punish this high line.

Stressful game as it was always going to be. Feels special to win up there when it comes so rarely. Just such a shame it feels a bit futile.

We tried our best to bottle that didn’t we?

Looked nervy and leggy as fuck.

Anyway a win is a win.

We are all scousers tomorrow night.

Mate spurs fans are different to the players and manager. Ange would want to go out on a high.

Half of Spurs players are Arsenal fans anyway

          Tactics
I’m seriously considering going to the game as well. Fulham game didn’t go too great but it was sunny and a Sat so low risk. Going to that shithole on a school night might be a step too far.
