Big second half. Rice and Odegaard were great. The former was blowing badly at the end.

Kiwior and Havertz very solid throughout.

Saka needs to be rested for the next game - absolutely no chance though.

I think this game puts to bed the theory that our players suffer from excessive fatigue. What we suffer from is a drop in confidence after a couple of bad results and setbacks. Once we scored we were a completely different team. Saka’s best moments came in the last 10 minutes. Mental fatigue if anything. Hope we turned a corner.

Gurgen probably right, both Ode and Trossard referred to the mental disappointment after the Bayern game in the post match interview and how it was a challenge

As anyone who’s played football knows adrenaline and confidence gives you a big boost to energy levels. When you’re 6-0 down suddenly legs feel heavy.

Lol Gary O'Neil say they didn't deserve to lose 2-0. He's okay to lose 1-0 to us but 2-0 is harsh and disappointing. Very disappointed they conceded the 2nd goal, called it very soft.

MistaT I'm pretty sure he doesn't give a shit about football anymore and is already retired in his head. Otherwise he has to be on drugs. The sheer number of times he has misread the flight/bounce of the ball and air-balled headers doesn't make any sense.

I continue to be appalled at seeing Odegaard and Saka go the full 90.

Hard to imagine we would have lost anything had Jorginho, Nelson, or ESR come on for the last 15 mins.

It wasn't pretty but we just needed to grind out and move on. After two bad results it probably felt like our players had lead in their boots but they just needed to dig deep and find a way. And we found that, now onto the next game.

est Some players need minutes to find their feet again, he's virtually played no football all season.
