Poor finish from Martinelli there
Wasn't an easy finish that. Odegaard fantastic. Questionable decision not to have shot the first time to be a picky bastard though.
Not a great performance but we won and that's all that matters at this point.
Chelsea should be shot after playing Man City.
Hope that shows them down as they looked a full tier above us athletically in their first half today.

That was because City were at 60 percent following ET and pens and losing on Wed.
We should have 3 and a half days before the next game and it’s not a long journey back to London today. Injuries aside I feel like they should recover in time
We're going to need a lot of luck from now on until the end of the season.
The quality of our final ball was not great to begin with, but now with the players physically spent, it's absolutely horrendous.
est on the flip side our defence is absolutely immense. In previous years we’d have conceded but instead we were able to grab the 2nd goal. We’ll need luck for sure but our defence is the key to unlocking that luck

One more mid-week game and then we can properly rest and recover. We need one more push v Chelsea then have a few days by the time we play that shower of shite down the road.
That was gritty. Didnt think we had this in us. Glad we won. On to the next one.
We need players to finish their chances. That's our problem now
Excellent win.
Rice superb. Kiwior and White excellent too.
lorddulaarsenal Kiwior had a few Zinchenko moments that could have been very costly. Wouldn't call that excellent.
Arguably most important win of the season given the context of being in our annual downward death trap.
No cunts can call us bottlers tonight.
P.S: I make the match threads for the rest of the season.
we should've won by more but our shooting has continued being atrocious.
banduan or rather the lack of first time shots when we can do it. We rather recycle possession.
But anyway this is a huge huge win. The players have no legs at the end but still grinded out this result. No mean feat after a horrible European exit
Clrnc or rather the lack of first time shots when we can do it.
We do do it. They're all weak af hence why nobody remembers them as shots sometimes.
Also when Jesus does it he's almost guaranteed to hit a defender.
Good win. Gave them very little. Worried about the fatigue though.. hopefully we switch up 2-3 players in the next game.
It’s sad but I’m not confident any of our forwards aside from Trossard would be able to replicate Odegard’s goal
Big second half. Rice and Odegaard were great. The former was blowing badly at the end.
Kiwior and Havertz very solid throughout.
Saka needs to be rested for the next game - absolutely no chance though.
Martinelli no longer a killer in front of goal.
I think this game puts to bed the theory that our players suffer from excessive fatigue. What we suffer from is a drop in confidence after a couple of bad results and setbacks. Once we scored we were a completely different team. Saka’s best moments came in the last 10 minutes. Mental fatigue if anything. Hope we turned a corner.
Gurgen probably right, both Ode and Trossard referred to the mental disappointment after the Bayern game in the post match interview and how it was a challenge

The energy levels in the last ten mins…
As anyone who’s played football knows adrenaline and confidence gives you a big boost to energy levels. When you’re 6-0 down suddenly legs feel heavy.
Also genuinely how did Wolves finish the game with 11 men. VAR are so shit - clearly looked to see whether the players were actually injured to make a decision
