As for the result, I think the game went pretty much how I expected. My biggest concern was that they would hurt us in the transition, and they did just that where they looked like scoring every time we lost the ball. The White tackle and Coman hitting the post was close to 4 goals against on the night. We also had our chances and could have scored 4 ourselves, so in the end 2-2 was a fair result.
All this talk of choking and shitting the bed, is nonsense talk. It's like going into the ring with Evander Holyfield and wondering why you got knocked down a couple of times. Tuchel taking off Sane really benefited us because he was killing us, and Kane dropping into the 10 and spraying passes around with Gnabry and Sane running across from wide gave Gabriel and Saliba a completely different challenge to what they have faced this season.
We've lost two, drawn one, and won one away from home in Europe. The two best representative fixtures in the PL we've played so far, we drew both away at the Etihad and Anfield. So the odds of us winning in Munich is low. I think our best bet is to park the bus, play on the break, and maybe play for penalties. We're definitely still in the tie, but we will face an onslaught at the Allianz.
