Good thing this forum went down towards the end of the match lol. Really disappointing result, the scoreline flattered them though, I don't give a shit what anyone says they did not deserve to win that match, three shots on target I think the whole game and one was a penalty and the other two were goals.
We were incredibly poor in both boxes but I also think we were incredibly unlucky. You could replay that game 100 times and we'd win 95 of the time, on every metric we dominated. Had clear cut chances and they scored a jammy first goal which probably would have been ruled out if his leg was about 2 inches to the left and then from a corner. Also thought we should have had a penalty, their guy took our Jesus but nothing was given. Saka and Jesus have to finish their chances, just poor finishing by both of them.
The main problem I saw was the No.8, not having Havertz there really showed imo, he has been very good for us in that position in recent weeks and really missed his physical presence as well. Thought Martinelli looks a player whose confidence is absolutely shot, he'll be fine but we need him firing sooner rather than later .
