Clrnc I think my annoyance is this isn't just a one game thing our attack is not functioning well, whether it's because of a deliberate control ball strategy or at just don't do anything we are supposed to. Horseshoe attack is far too predictable and ineffective and we are so slow in attack.

Chelsea should have been a loss (-1)
City should have been a draw (-2)
Brentford should have been a draw (-2)
Villa should have been a win (+3)
Newcastle should have been a draw (+1)

So, on net, we have one less point than I think we "should".

daredevil yeah this is the thing that is so bonkers with any conspiracy mindset. There is no team that is getting the benefit instead you have randomness iyf decisions against all but every team thinks it's purely against them. Like with every conspiracy theory the truth is often less shocking and more simple. For us crap decisions made by humans with no motive just incompetence.

Clrnc this is not a useful way to go about interpreting decisions by others.. They are subjective so your view doesn't really matter, in the moment he may have been sure he saw a hand and the way the arms were that wouldn't be unreasonable. You can say he couldn't be 100% but that's probably true for many decisions but he made the decision and that's what counts for the VAR analysis.
