Yeah we'll see. £10m might be low but I'll be very surprised if we get our money back on him. He is a good keeper though with room to grow, don't think the current situation has changed that.

I do think the way Arteta's handled it isn't great for his valuation, but no need to relitigate it.

Burnwinter agree with this with the exception of your last sentence. I think we'll be rehashing this discussion until Raya can prove he's consistently a couple of levels better than Ramsdale or we replace him with someone that is.

Clrnc I think he's a good keeper so feel any buyer would stand to profit. I would want a minimum of 40 million for Arsenal. Just 5 months ago CIES valued Ramsdale at 79 million euros as the most valuable keeper in Europe. 40-60 million for me, but it would be silly to burn this bridge and let him go mid-season.
By the way, Newcastle probably made the right longer-term call by going for Livramento over Tierney.

Livramento is a RB being forced to play as a LB now due to their injuries

If we got £50m or even £30m for him I'd be ecstatic. Whatever the abstract markets and ratings platforms say, we have zero track record of selling that well. If we did get enough for Ramsdale to completely cover what we're paying for Raya, it would change my outlook on the whole manoeuvre.

HomeSteak They are missing 3 players: Andersen, Burke & Potts. Another 3 are listed as doubts: Lokonga(can he play against us?), Nakamba and Woodrow.

They're missing more than that. Starting CBs Lockyer and Mengi are out, and LWB Doughty.

They'll make it intimidating, but we really should take care of this

Feel like missing players at a lower level doesn’t really make a huge difference. I mean defending in a low block is pretty basic.

Clrnc not to be "that guy", but I think going into any Premier League game, especially one away from home, expecting a cricket score is just setting yourself up for disappointment. No matter how poor the opposition is perceived to be.

I don't discount the possibility of us dishing out a hammering, it's well within our capabilities to do so, but it seems an unrealistic framing to preview a game in that way.
