QuincyAbeyie Mentioned it obliquely above, but Trossard was played up front this season at home to Fulham, and got dragged at half time after an awful showing.
Burnwinter That's true, forgot that he was up front in that one. That one half being the reason he's not given more chances would be very grating for me though.
Players like Trossard and Nelson really, really need to take their chances when they are presented them. More times than not I see them play within themselves. It shouldn’t be that hard to give under performing Martneilli and Saka serious competition.
Sicario2 - Tier 1 Trossard has take his chances time and time again TBF
I don't see why Trossard needs to take his chance within 45 minutes while his competition for the backup spot - Nketiah - doesn't. One player is clearly given more time to prove himself than the other.
Tross is a bit weird. Mad talented, but also seriously sloppy late-Arshavin vibes too often.
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert
That's probably why he's never been trusted in midfield. Has a tendency to be sloppy in possession.
.............. ....... Raya Tomiyasu ... Saliba... Gabriel ............ Rice.. Zinchenko Odegaard Havertz Trossard ............. Saka Martinelli
Pepe LeFrits more like Pep LeFrits
Wonder if it's got anything to do with an ailment he's working through, or getting used to his leaner physique this season. Definitely need him and Jesus contributing out wide to offset performance dips by Martinelli and Saka.
daredevil
Still, he should be given more chances up front.
daredevil now or never, I guess.
No rest for White, and on we go with Jorginho. Arteta is relentless.
Would've liked Zinchenko given a go here and then Tomiyasu back for the weekend.
QuincyAbeyie Burnley at home at the weekend, definitely a Zinchenko game.
Weak looking team tonight. Hope home advantage is enough to secure the 3 points, anything less and the next 2 get pressury.
lorddulaarsenal must stop leaking the line up the day before
Hopefully they don't put a cross anywhere near Raya.
Just realised Sevilla is resting half the team for their Derby this weekend
Oh dear Havertz....
Havertz shows yet again why he's one of the worst finishers in the league.
