I no longer need to watch Aubamafraud and Lacashit playing for my club. It's easier to amuse myself with the football and not have to rely on the shitposts. I'd take this a million times over finishing 8th and having to see posts claiming Aubameyang to be one of the world's great strikers. It was an extraordinarily dark time.

I literally don't think there has been a single game this season where the other team has consistently created better chances than we have. There have been a few games where both teams created basically nothing. That would be the clear point of improvement.

Sicario2 - Tier 1

I don’t think we’ve looked as good as last season but certainly a lot more solid. Today was the first time we conceded away in the league and it’s the 3rd week of October.

Regarding our attack, it’s either they are having collective second season syndrome or teams have sussed us out.

However, if we are playing ‘bad’ and still undefeated then that speaks volumes.

No point peaking too early like last season.

I like the football we play, but I miss those intricate combinations we’d get around the box with Ozil, Santi and the likes.

We definitely need a presence up top. Toney would add a lot.

I guess the Anfield 5-1 and Stamford Bridge 6-0 batterings with him in our midfield turned him off riskball for life.

Auba was tragic as a central striker. So poor in fact that fat Lacazette was better than him. Now Auba in place of Martinelli, maybe you have a point.

DiabyKungFu this what I mean by unsustainable. limiting the chances of the other team, but creating fuckall. this will see get you shafted over the course and distance of a full premier league season. its a long-term losing recipe

Missed the game, good to see us come back and get the draw.

Were we really bad or Chelsea good? Heard they crammed midfield and that penalty is soft as hell and a jammy goal for them.

JazzG Chelsea weren't great at all, but they definitely had way more appetite than us, and they built on that to control 70 minutes of the game. they didn't create much outside 2 relatively fortunate goals. at the same we were execrable in terms of effort and execution. 0 shots on target until rice scored

Without Partey, we are half a team. Zinchenko is the only man remaining who can pass through the lines. Building up with Rice and Tomiyasu is going to end us. And I rate both of them.

daredevil zinchenko has been off it for most of 2023 tbh. he's only in the team for his passing, and we're getting diminishing returns from him on that front at the moment

Can’t read much in to it. The waterlogged pitch stifled our passing game. They were fouling and being cloggers. Had a pen that shouldn’t have been given, and a fluke second.

Just a bad day at the office for us. It’ll happen.

We’d improve massively with Partey in the line up
