The end of the splash brothers?
NBA 23/24
Tatum looks like he has Arsenal DNA. Celtics almost bottled a 30-point lead again today.
Adding players like White and Holiday, who are winners and not bottlers, was a genius move by Brad Stevens and co. Not sure it will be enough to nullify the choke-ability of their stars for the entire playoff run, but it saved them tonight.
Lol the lakers have the Arsenal DNA.
How the hell do you lose after leading by 20.
Denver is the Man City of them
Michael Jordan is back?

Yep. He's really fun to watch.
Although I don't like Gobert and especially Towns at all, it's difficult to dislike this Timberwolves team. Nuggets have their hands full.
Knicks were terrible. Trying to force Anunoby through it was a massive fuck up.
Luka is just dropping triple doubles every game now. Ridiculous levels.
Celtics v Mavs in the final then. Glad to see people move on from slating AE and start calling out KAT and Rudy because they've been poor in this series.

Qwiss Ant has been poor as well. He is gassed before half time. Scared to shot, scared to drive and the whole "I got Iriving" that he did before the series, yeah, that did not work out, he got shit.
Still young and will only get better, but the jackking off the press did over him, and are still doing...crazy, Jordan my ass, more Jordan Pool then Michael. And there is no comparing him to Doncic either(even if some still insist he is better). One legged Doncic ripped him and his whole team to shreds.

HomeSteak Ant has been poor but he is 22. I think the "I got Irving" thing was a mistake too but people have been encouraging his big mouth all play offs and as soon as it backfires they're slating him. Plus all these experts said the Mavs would lose the series in 6 because the Wolves defence was so great but Luka has made Rudy look a total mug. Agree on the press over-hyping AE but its incredibly annoying that they built him up just to knock him straight back down. They are worse than the football press.
Luka and Kyrie have been massively underrated this whole series. The pundits were mostly tipping OKC too. Although they looked better than the Wolves. And now they keep saying "well the Nuggets would have beat them", I don't think so. The Mavs have been great most of this year and none of this has surprised me. Definitely get the sense the Americans just don't want another Eastern European being the face of the league.
So Boston has won it. Good team, a lot of good player in there(why did Bucks give Holiday away?). Probably favorites next year as well. They will have an easy season in the east, and a easy run to the finals again. Dallas needs more, Iriving has been meh to bad in the finals, Doncic has been ok on offensive terrible on defense. The rest of the Dallas team were just there for the vibes.
Luka can't do it all on his own and Kyrie can't be acting the big man and then bottling it like that. Kyrie is the senior player and leader there so when he falls apart I think it translates to all the role players. Most of them have had good playoffs, especially Lively but the finals have been abysmal.

luka is trash defensively and boston is seeking him out. get in the gym fat boy. don't learn all the wrong lessons from james harden.
If Luka is trash defensively then what is Kyrie? He's even worse. Dallas' role players have been really disappointing. Boston is playing as a team, Dallas looks far from a well-oiled machine.
As expected Holiday is absolutely brilliant and along with White they lead by example and give the team a great platform to start from on both ends of the court. Brown has really elevated his game compared to the last finals. Tatum is still soft and not the superstar he's hyped up to be, but he's settled into playing team ball and is playing an important role like Wiggins did for the Warriors title-winning team.
Really happy for Al Horford, this has been a long time coming for him. Great player, really deserves the ring.
If Dallas' role players don't get their act together, this is going to be over in 4. I'd expect them to put up a fight though and take at least a consolation win.
est I think Dallas are going to get swept. Game 3 should have been their chance to make it a contest and they still came up short, I'm not sure they have another gear above that at the moment. Unless Luka does it all on his own but he's already tried that in game 2 and it wasn't enough. Totally agree on Kyrie, I'm a big fan of his but he's been awful on both ends in these finals. I think its all in his head too. Luka and Kyrie aren't great defensive players but they've been doing enough throughout the playoffs to stop a lot of players people said they couldn't stop like Shai and AE.
