Jesus, Nketiah, Trossard and Havertz have all played at center forward in the Premier League at a creditable level.

QuincyAbeyie Damn, our squad is massive if every player counts 1 x number pf positions they can play in.

Well, we've suffered a number of key injuries already this season and the baseline expectation from a lot of the fans is that we should still curbstomp every opponent we face. I think that's a good indication of our level of depth. The notable exception is at right wing where if our right winger gets a boo-boo and needs to walk it off for a minute, you have people ready to write the season off. I don't think I'm really saying anything here that people haven't already internalized, consciously or subconsciously.

lorddulaarsenal don’t you mean 7th right winger as Saka, Nelson, Martinelli, Trossard, Jesus and Vieira can play there

Nelson, Martinelli and Trossard don't really play there for us. Don't see why they would count at all. Vieira has played there but is a bad stylistic fit. I wouldn't really count him as a legit option. Jesus is probably our best bet but he's also our best center forward so it's not the best second option. Basically, if any one of Jesus, Nketiah, Trossard or Havertz played at center forward against City, I wouldn't really think anything of it. If anyone of the people you named outside of Saka or Jesus played at right wing against City, I'd think "Oh fuck".

It's confusing that you make it sound like you don't agree with those fans, but at the same time still think it's indicative of our depth..?

I think we're really, really good. I think the folks who seem to want us to put up 3 xG every game are being a bit silly.

Neto and Toney will be excellent, but we need to ship people out

Neto is a must this January

Toney maybe less so if Havertz can give us that different option up top.

Havertz is one of the worst finishers in the league going by G/xG ratio. Why would you want him regularly up front?

He's not going to play as a 9 but I've noticed this season that he goes up alongside the 9 quite a lot (at goal kicks in particular, and sometimes when we're playing it around at the back) which I think is by instruction, Arteta wants to be able to stretch the opposition by having the option to go long.
