Pepe LeFrits yeah I don't get how it's become Tierney when Partey got totally mugged off and turned which opened us right up, after that we were on the back foot as a defensive unit but that was the moment that created that opportunity for city.

That's my main concern from today, City always find it so easy to shut us out. How many times have we failed to score against them under Arteta?

Lots of positives for me though overall. We looked good defensively for the most part, Timber is class and I think Havertz will be a great option. Feels like we're short in attack though.

If there's a scapegoat, it's Partey. Not the first bit of calamitous play from him today. Always a liability.

I totally agree. I think he has a MUCH bigger neagtive effect on our game than most realise. He's the hub of the team, and he's not up to it.

The quicker he goes, or his role is marginalised, leaving Rice to take his rightful place at the heart of the team, the better imo.
