Daz Absolutely. Must be the Japan/Korea World Cup that was the last tournament on at good times for this part of the world. No doubt there's people complaining about the times of some of these games, but many of us have to deal that every week every season.

Norway are a shambles. First the coach benched Graham Hansen who's probably the second best player in the team, then Graham Hansen went off on the coach in the post-match interview.

It's been great how competitive most of the matches are with there being some upsets and some of the so called "weaker" teams putting in strong performances and not being embarrassed, with a couple of exceptions. Previous Women's tournaments the gap between the few stronger nations and the rest has been so big that massive scores have been a theme of the group stage.
Going to USA vs Netherlands tomorrow. Repeat of the 2019 final so potential to be a really good competitive game.

Crazy stat on Philippines - only one player in the entire squad was born in Philippines. Almost all of the squad are US born with a Filipino parent.

Funny old game. NZ had targeted the Philippines game as the best chance of a result and expected to be thrashed by Norway. So they have the 3 points they hoped to have after 2 games but the overwhelming feeling is gutted not to be on more. Going to be tight for who goes through from this group now.
