Solid performance from Sweden last night. They are ranked 3rd and finished 3rd but there will no doubt be some regret particularly at switching off after the equaliser in the semi final and allowing that goal to happen. They played well all tournament, knocked out USA, and I went to 2 of their games too.
Excited to have Ilestedt at Arsenal this season. Our keepers are not great so I do wonder if Musovic is worth looking at. Number 2 at Chelsea, could maybe be tempted to stay in London and be number 1 with Ilestedt in front of her.
Regret not travelling for the final tonight. Have had a look at it but resale tickets either not coming up or gone by the time you get to the cart, but the flights are astronomical at such late notice anyway. Probably should have booked a trip to the final ages ago when the tickets went on sale. Regardless of who was in it, it's a once in a lifetime to have a football world cup final so accessible.
