I was there last night - what an experience - really good performance from Australia. Denmark controlled possession better but we didn't allow them many clear openings, whereas we created two great chances and were clinical with both.
Mary's pass was a thing of beauty. Perfection.
It's been fantastic seeing the team get this far without Sam too. When she came on there was such a roar, and she went close.
It also felt like half the stadium was watching the England penalty shoot out on phones right up until the national anthems for Denmark and Australia. Classic.
Finally, it's wonderful how so many people are going to these games and talking about women's football at work etc. My wife came last night - her first ever big football game. She loved it. One reason she gave was that the crowd vibe was friendly and positive and wasn't full of dickhead blokes.
