Think he’s being a tad overhyped. Technically great and a very clever play but need to see that he can cope with the physical demands of the Prem.

    lorddulaarsenal initial auditions looked good. He had the best combination of progressive passes and carries in Europe last year. And he looked good in our US your and community shield. Out left side progression issues, he might’ve helped address.

      Add Partey and Tomiyasu into mix and we might have a really strong finish to the season, for once.

      HomeSteak Lol, let's hope ESR can channel his incredible form into something productive during those 3-6 minutes he'll get against Crystal Palace. Can't give him more time, we're protecting him after returning from injury, you see.

        Timber playing a meaningful part this season would be great. If nothing else, a quick recovery hopefully means he'll come back close to his pre-injury level.

        ESR definitely deserves an extended run in the 8 role. Reading his interview recently, it's good to see him not feeling sorry for himself and instead focusing on winning a spot. I'd start him tomorrow.

        As much as I'm willing give Havertz time, at this point I'm not sure he's done enough to start ahead of ESR (fitness permitting). Would definitely love him to get more game time. Might even help with the lack of goals situation...

        Sounds like the Timber early return stuff is overblown unless Arteta is being overly coy.

        HomeSteak No, but we can really need him to be back [gestures expensively] this much.

        Besides that's the squad for the whole second half of the season. Maybe he throws in a match-winning block after coming on as a sub in extra time of the final (and does his other ACL in the process no doubt!)

          HomeSteak think we're about as likely to see him in the CL as we are Casey, Butler-Oyedeji, Cooper, Jeffcott, Graczyk, Gower etc.

            If Timber steps foot on to a pitch for us this season it would automatically be my favourite moment of the season. Love this player.

            Would be great to have him back at some point in March.

            If nothing else, it will be good that he will be fully back up to speed for the start of next season.
