We've only faced 4 out of the current top 10 so the picture will be substantively clearer by boxing day as I thought anyway after Newcastle away. However, at a glance we're trending nicely toward 83-89 points.

QuincyAbeyie I don't think anyone was being serious, just bullish about our chances and, for myself, a bit annoyed that he's used as a qualifier when talking about Arsenal's position so far this season.

Coombs Fair, although to me it doesn't make sense to use our injuries such as Partey to anticipate our potential improvements and then ignore that their best player is coming back.

Sicario2 - Tier 1

Goalkeeping issue and lack of depth at the back will be our biggest obstacles in winning the title.

Next four games are crucial. We've had a favourable spread of games in the first 15 but the next four will even things out a little. Realistically I think we need a minimum of 7 points which would put us on 43 points after 19 games (a 86 point pace). Will likely mean our next 19 will need to be better than our first 19 for us to win the league as I suspect 90 points will continue to be the benchmark.

We need to maintain at least a 90 point pace for me, which means we need at least 3 wins out of the next 4. 2 home wins and 1 win out of Villa/Pool will do me.

I think 7 points from the next 4 matches would be a reasonable return tbh. Anfield A is probably the toughest fixture of the year for us. If we're gonna hit 90 points this season it would have to come from hitting our stride in the second half of the season.

CPM We are currently on course for a 90+ season, we just need to not drop off. If City and Liverpool go beyond us at that pace so be it, its just bad luck.

I will say this, if we don’t win the title I want City to win it. If Liverpool (or someone else) win it I will be really pissed off.

Sicario2 - Tier 1 yeah, I know what you mean. Starting to look like Liverpool's shiteness last year was temporary and they're back this year. Though I gather, I haven't looked into it at all, that their defensive numbers aren't great and they're getting by on the strength of their attacking play so they may not be sustainable.
