Martinez biggest issue is his small man syndrome. I see this with smaller kids at football all the time, their Dads try to over compensate by making them dirty little shits. Arteta would have sorted that out, a few feel good sessions with Carlos Cuesta and he'd have tamed his inner demons, found real confidence in his footballing ability and stopped trying to scythe everyone down 10 times a game.
