Haven't really followed the discussion or watched any compilations so it might sound harsh but find it difficult to get too excited about a player who has mostly been a flop at Chelsea. The bar is very low for taking players from them. Hopefully he'll at least be better than Willian.
Have to start with an open mind though I guess. So welcome and hopefully it works out bet than previous signings from Chelsea. With the obvious exception club, you don't spend that sort of money for someone to be on the bench so interesting to see what position he's going to take.
Quickly looking through his appearance numbers he does look to have stayed fit so that's a bonus.
