I must admit at this point I don't know how big the potential of Havertz is or how close he ends up getting to it, but there's just something about him where you feel he could be an absolute monster if he ironed out a few of his flaws. Again, not sure he can or will - and he can still be a great asset for us without doing so - but yeah, there's definitely something about him. Much stronger and physically dominating than he first appears.. seems to be able to go in to 40-60s in the opponents favour yet still come away with the ball. Imagine if he can pair that ability with being abit quicker, more direct, abit more decisive in what he wants to do. Could be lethal.

I also thought he was a couple years older than he actually is too.

My main drawback around Havertz at centre forward is he's still to slow for those moments we turn it over and can get at a team before they are able to reorganise. I think it deprives us of a great attacking option in a game especially if a bit under pressure or being blocked out. It's not just him, we play quite slowly generally to protect ourselves under Arteta but there were moments yesterday where a forward who could hit the opposition at pace and had the finish to match would have been great outlet and probably creates a bit more threat/chaos for the opposition.

The way Kai is playing I think I’d prefer a top winger in the summer. Feels like that would be an easier win in terms of improving the team.

He’s been very good and he’s getting better.

goon possibly - what Havertz now gives us is the luxury of choice. We should for for the best available attacking player whether that's a striker or a wide forward. Puts us in a good position at the negotiating table too.

Really happy to hear he performed again, he got a lot of unfair criticism earlier this season but he took it on the chin and now performing. CF is defo the position for him.

Agreed, only striker I can see improving over him would be someone like Osimhen and we'll have to pay stupid money for him and probably mega wages. Probably be up against PSG who are desperate to make a statement signing when Mbappe leaves.

If we are willing to spend that kind of money I'd rather go all in for someone like Leao, would improve the team more imo.

5 goals and 3 assists in 7 games. If Havertz runs out the season with those sorts of numbers, he'll be undroppable and a certain part of next season's plans, considering the rest of what he offers. Jesus is a winger for the time being.
