Big Willie yep. We are literally 6 points better off alone based on his 2 late crucial goals against Brentford

4 points but yeah, true.
Top drawer again.
He was good aside from the goal too.
Go back and watch his first few games and compare to his last few, the difference in his intensity levels is huge. Sharper, fitter, more aware of his surroundings.
Really good.
Big Willie I reckon Kanu was a cult hero because we'd never seen a footballer like him when he signed for us - and we haven't since! Not saying 2002 didn't help, but he was ridiculous fun to watch.
Was it just me, or was Havertz header pretty much a replica of Thierry's last minute winner v United 06/07? Joyous.

Yeah, especially after THAT Chelsea hatrick, Kanu' legacy was sealed in folklore. What a baller he was, right?
Big Willie and that goal against Deportivo, which remains one of my top three Arsenal goals of all time - it's definitely the funniest, even allowing for our two late goals against Villa last season!
DiabyKungFu Shouldn't have been on a yellow in the first place imo.
Should also add that I'm really happy for him, a lot of our fanbase went with the media and social media narrative on him, didn't want to give him a chance. Really glad he is proving them wrong, felt when we signed him he would come in useful in these type of games where teams sit deep and really hard to break down. Twice against Brentford he has helped us snatch a win with a late goal.
I'm completely won over now I admit. Fickle fucker.
I think he's in the right environment to really fulfil his potential here. Comes across as switched on and intelligent when he talks too.
Huge moment. Great game overall. His form is indisputable. I asked could he do it in the big moments when we weren't coasting and boy did he deliver today.
From flop to cult hero in 4 months. Unreal turnaround. Chelsea fans must be hating this and I’m all for it.
QuincyAbeyie two things here 1) there was enough evidence the team was actually good. We had a very specific problem creating enough high goal threat to overcome variance. But we were controlling games and defending better than probably any team in Europe all the way before Dubai
2) with 3 new starters, it was normal to expect some transition issues, particularly on offense.
On Kai specifically, give this guy til next year. I think we’ve unearthed a truly truly special player here. Fucking Chelsea almost destroyed a gem.
His confidence makes a lot of difference. He is taking shots when he would lay off to others from similar positions earlier in the season. He has a tireless engine. I was so so wrong about Kai turning good. I am glad I was wrong.
Kai is driving now. He's driving.
Mikel Knows!
Thing with Cobie is that he can do damage against any team in world football - absolute brute
Stupidly good player
the word rangy was made for him
Gazza M Yeah he's one of those who doesn't run, he lopes, like Vieira. Deceptively quick over medium distances.
