And Havertz has played 40% the amount of games that Gyokeres has, so pretty even to be honest.
I'm not saying Havertz is a top striker and I've said plenty of times that we need to upgrade on him; Gyokeres just isn't that. For someone who is all about goalscoring, Gyokeres is very mid at it and has nothing else in his game to compensate.
The reason I prefer Kai is because I think he functions better in our team and improves our attack relative to Gyokeres, which the stats bear out.
Gyokeres has 0.42 goals/assists per match.
Havertz has 0.48 goals/assists per match.
In 25/26, we've scored 1.88 goals per game.
In 23/24, we scored 2.39 goals per game.
