No way in this world is Caicedo worth £115m.
His best attribute is closing down and winning the ball. Every other aspect of his game is decent at best.
His profile is better suited to teams who are up against it, not dominant teams that boss possession and dictate play. Would have only wanted him here to play and inverted fullback role. Timber is a much better signing and I think White would do just as good a job there anyway.
Caicedo is also lacking physically. When he comes up against a bigger player who knows how to use their weight he comes up short. Was literally bouncing off Newcastle players at the end of last season. watching that match made it clear in my mind he wasn’t for us.
