Ricky1985 I did watch him for a brief period in Germany and wishlisted him as the talent of the century haha. Think @jones liked him as well those days.
He generally played as a 10 there which is not as far off as a modern 8 these days so you could be onto something. His best trait is actually late runs into the box, his timing is often very good and he's clinical with both his heading and feet.
Chelsea often playing him up front takes that away from him.
Very much prefer signing him and Rice over 2 defensive mids. This would pretty much spells the end of our Caicedo chase. Also could mean we can work something out with Chelsea not to fight with them and they lower Kai Price. Thought we needed someone like Veiga but Kai will do
