Fringe players like him need to make most of these opportunities and he hasn’t, just fades.

He was never really good enough, the contract offer was bizarre and another example of questionable squad decisions from Arteta and Edu for me.

The goal was last seasons best moment but he'd never have got his new deal without it, and thats a mistake. He'll do well somewhere but not here if we want to win a title.

None of our wide players is ever gonna lie awake at night worrying about getting overtaken by Nelson.

He's Arsenal through and through, and sadly that's the problem. If I'm any judge he signed that new deal because he wanted to settle down, not push ahead.

Sicario2 - Tier 1 why should I, when all I have claimed is that a player who's mostly on the bench isn't "dining" on a performance? That would be if he played regularly without performing because of that goal.

Martinelli was frustrating yesterday. I know it's been discussed already but his decision-making does need to improve. Maybe he's lacking a bit of confidence at the moment which is compounding the issue but I would definitely be open to giving Nelson a run-out to see how he fares.
