QuincyAbeyie Martinelli might go central. I still reckon that might be one of this season's big surprises, he's always looked compelling there and possibly capable of improvement. Wouldn't make him better than Saka by any means, but it would make the comparison a bit meaningless.

I want to see him play a proper game from the beginning.

When he comes on when we need something he plays too rushed and panicked. It’s all hustle and bustle and not much actual end product. I feel for him because he knows he has limited chances so it almost over trying.

He needs to calm down a bit and have a bit more finesse in his game.

I want to see him play 2-3 league/CL games in a row so we can properly assess him.

He's great at finding the right space on the wing, plays similar to Martinelli in how advanced he gets. Needs better decision making and strength/balance though. Bringing him on late against teams who are dropping deep isn't best for him, needs space in behind.

Sad to say this but I no longer see him playing as winger to the requisite level here. Disappointed with his overall approach in 2023 and it was reinforced against Brentford too. Wouldn't mind trying him at left-side 8 if he wants to be more of a creator and facilitator. He just isn't desperate enough to get into goal scoring situations. He should have been ready to die out there to keep his minutes quota for the season alive.

Fringe players like him need to make most of these opportunities and he hasn’t, just fades.

He was never really good enough, the contract offer was bizarre and another example of questionable squad decisions from Arteta and Edu for me.

The goal was last seasons best moment but he'd never have got his new deal without it, and thats a mistake. He'll do well somewhere but not here if we want to win a title.
