Gotta start the first team here, the Premier League is the priority. I think the floor of the team has now been raised sufficiently that we can do a little mix and match on Thursday without a disastrous effect on quality there, but let's not take the risk tomorrow.

I’d probably start Jorginho over Partey, and Nketiah over Trossard.

Partey and Trossard can grab some minutes but they strike me as more “needed” for Europa.

Also wouldn’t be surprised to see Viera get a start vs Sporting.

Reporter asked Arteta if we could see two completely different sides for the next two games and Arteta said it's a possibility. I'm not sure where the impression has come from that Arteta doesn't change things up. He has always rotated as much the quality of squad depth has allowed him.

    Well, I guess that's a debatable point in the sense that we have Sambi but never use him (because some would argue he's not adequate squad depth).

    Eddie also barely got game time in the league until Jesus was injured.

    I guess my point is, your squad is as big/small as you want it to be (to an extent) so whilst I understand where you're coming from, I don't think it's entirely fair to say Arteta uses the squad to its full potential.

      My post was referring to cup games with Sporting coming up.

      League Cup, Europa League and even the FA Cup against City saw quite heavy rotation. With ESR, Trossard, Jorginho, Kiwor all boosting depth I'd expect to see even bigger rotation on Thursday.

          Clrnc well, since he added "as much as quality allowed him to" I guess he could just say that no matter how little he rotated it was as much as the quality allowed him to.

              So guys, been a few years since I been to a game. Friend sent me a scan of his ticket with a QR code. Pretty straight forward to get in or what? I remember entry was either using a paper ticket or a card but it was a while ago.

              Plus the news about people getting banned and stuff is getting me a bit concerned, don't want to cost my mate his season ticket.

                Big Willie Enjoy! I was there when we thrashed them in 2019 even managed to capture the Laca freekick goal on my phone. Hope it'll be a similar outcome for you tomorrow 😄

                    Aren't most games like this? Have to end up watching using a stream or IPTV. Maybe the fact we've been playing EL games last few seasons and ending up playing Sundays makes us more likely to have our games televised but usually in the UK you're extremely lucky to get 2 to 3 PL games televised a month.

                          Big Willie as long as it's in YOUR wallet, you'll be fine. I think the problem would be if you took a screenshot of the QR code and tried to get in with that.

                              QR and confirmation is emailed as well no? could ask friend to forward that inc. attachment.

                              But apparently he said he's done it twice before in the last couple months when he's sold his ticket to someone (not ticket exchange) after he couldn't make the game.

                              Excited about being back in club level seats. Haven't been on sat there since the Brazil vs Sweden and the Brazil vs Portugal games back in the late naughties. Really hope I don't get into any problems getting in.
