JazzG I think they'll press us high but drop back as soon as we play through their press. They'll then look to force us wide and double mark our wingers, basically forcing us to cross the ball which's like a piece of cake for their CBs to deal with.
Getting an early goal here would be the key. Need to play at a high tempo, pass the ball at pace and overload the flanks to create more passing options thereby negating their double marking. Also attack with more variety: shoot when the opportunity arises (instead of constantly trying to play the perfect final pass), quick switch of play and passes in behind, crosses, well taken set pieces, cutbacks and make use of the opportunities on the break.
Very important though that we consistently win the 2nd ball as they'll no doubt hit it long to Onana in order to escape our pressing and then try to play from there. If we succeed in winning those knock downs/2nd balls, then there's no way they are going to withstand wave after wave of attacks, especially with the crowd behind us.
