It won't come into effect for this season. Independent commission still needs to be appointed, and then it'll probably go to CAS after that (where their Europe ban was overturned)

No doubt that this is massive though. Premier League could've taken an easy way out and fined them for non-cooperation (which CAS hit them with in the end over the UEFA charge). Instead theyve brought 100 charges against them.

I wonder if that is justified in this case though. The PL will have seen the issues UEFA have had with CAS, which is probably why this investigation has lasted 4 years. Unlike those UEFA charges, we're not talking about 2 or 3, we've got over 100 charges in this case.

Punishments may ultimately be watered down from whatever the PL decide to hand down, but I can't see it being negligable.

Big difference to this, and the UEFA charges, is that there's no time bar in the Premier League rules as to when they offences took place. City used that with CAS to get the UEFA charges overturned i.e. offences took place too long ago.

Burnwinter he did say if they've lied to him.. If he knew all about it, they haven't!

But regarding Goon's meme and like I've said before when people have accused City of doping etc, it's a bit too convenient for us to assume that Arteta was an innocent angel amongst all the corrupt City devils.
