Secondly, what we all really wanted at the bare minimum was a cover for Partey, not necessarily to rotate with him but just a cover. And Jorginho although old and useless is a better cover than Sambi. And that also frees up Sambi to play as an 8 in very emergency times or Europa. And the deal is only for 1.5 year, although expensive and contributed to Chelsea getting their main targets we don't lose that much financially with a old and hard to shift player. He can also provide vital experience and as shown just 2 years ago is a big game player on the big stage for Italy (he owned Rice in that game mind you).
And nothing will be better than Jorginho having a league medal around his neck and laughing at the blue cunts.
I just hope we are smart enough to tell Brighton we are going to pay up their valuation for Caicedo in the summer and secure first option. We left the poor lad hanging after he bravely put out the post to force the move so lets do the right thing in the summer.
