I don't think a place exists in Arteta's system for Danilo or a player like him.
From what I've seen of him, his standout qualities are mostly physical, as well as being strong in the tackle and with a decent left foot. But he also looks noticeably one-footed, with no better than average touch, close control and passing range. He looks like a box-to-box midfielder to me in a 2-man midfield or in a less possession dominant team that employs a 3-man midfield - making use of that stamina and duel winning ability. I don't see a 6 in our system in him at all.
If I was listing what I think it's most important for Arteta in that 6 position, I'd go with:
- Ball reception
- 90%+ short and medium passing
- Very low dispossession
- High key pass and progression numbers relative to the position
... Then, and only then:
- The defensive numbers - tackles, tackle success rate, interceptions, heading etc. These are usually found in players that are quick, strong, athletic. Players that are physically gifted are obviously rarely also good at 1-4 and vice-versa. And if they are, they're not available in January!
With that in mind, for a January signing, Jorginho is a very good compromise, in my opinion (and his defensive numbers are surprisingly good, excellent even).
