How are some of you guys saying we didn't create anything? Nketiah, Ødegaard and Saka each missed extremely good chances.
There were a lot of individually poor performances, and we were very disappointing at both ends on set-pieces against their giants, but we created dangerous positions over and over. Irritatingly, a poor final pass, cross or shot came pretty much every time.
Anyway, we are going to have to come up with a better plan for these teams that do nothing but sit in and hope for a long counter ir set-piece, because our forwards are not lethal, and if we don't completely dominate games and create a ton of chances, we'll struggle. Newcastle at home a month back was a similar type of game, and I suspect we'll face a few of them as the season moves toward the finishing line.
Arteta has done an almost superhuman job to get these kids to 50 points at the halfway mark. I think you see that even more on days like this.
We must win the next game and keep moving, that's the key if we have a chance over the long run.
