I really like merino. But in the same way Liverpool sold Diaz, manchity are selling Ake and Akanji because they're 30. But still have good value.

Clubs are getting so good at buying and selling young players to make money and extracting value out of older players. It's a real money game. We signed Gyok, Eze, Zubi that'll all age out we probably need to play the game a bit as well.

I'm happy for him to stay but and I'm sure he'll have a good impact over the season.

This actually it shows how special Saka is considering he was playing LB until that Chelsea game where he and ESR saved Arteta around Christmas 2020. So effectively just under 5 years ago. Average of about 20G/A per season in that time in the PL. That's insane.

Fabregas himself was special and was playing for us since he was 17. Took him just under 7 years to get to that figure in comparison, though one could argue the bulk of his goals/assists came after his move up in around 2007 with in a team that ironically gave him more freedom to stay high up the pitch frok midfield than our current team does for Saka. 😂

Weird to agree/defend Sicario but Cesc being in a list of forwards shows how good he was, it's fair comment and I know everyone hates him now but it shouldn't be that hard to admit.

In 07/08 he was playing CM in a 442, paired with Flamini, and he got 35 goals/assists in 3900 minutes. That is insane.

Saka's numbers are fantastic as well.

Now comparing Jesus to R9 (somewhat seriously it seems and not really as a joke) and then trying to downplay Saka in a thread which should be celebrating him by just going on and on about that snake Fabregas.
