Gazza M I took a good read at that forum and was shocked how much they hate us. To the point some of them are already calling Rice cunt, barely 3 weeks after he helped them win a European cup. And there are also many who said will never forgive him and he will be the most hated West Ham player, abuse him when he comes back to the London stadium in our colors.

Also interesting there are a few who doesn't think City interest is genuine, and that they tried to leak it out to encourage us to bid higher but Rice only wanting to come to us news countered that and their board is furious. They seem to be under the impression they're our rivals so they are desperate he goes either abroad or somewhere like City.

Also for the 'neutral' media him choosing us over every other club is a hard pill to swallow. They've convinced themselves last season was a fluke and we'll be back to fighting for top 4 next year. from reading their forums, they think we're no marks that haven't won anything for 20 years and are going nowhere, and they could close the gap on us if rice stuck around and they made a few more big signings. because of that delusion that theyre not far off rivalling us, rice having his heart set in joining arsenal stings way more than joining city
