Pepe LeFrits He felt it was sort of disrespectful to leave A-M and abandon it since he was another admin. But he also eventually faded from there as far as I know. He had other things going on in his life.

I like to think he's still lurking around here somewhere just voyeuring us just waiting for his moment to step out of @Burnwinter's shadow and take the throne wafflery once and for all.

Big Willie I've grown more powerful with my waffling since those days ...

The Lobby situation was odd in retrospect but it seemed natural for the period, what, 2005 prior to algorithmic social media and so on.

At the time OMITT came into being I had the sense AntonyG actually enjoyed harassing the Lobby ... I guess you'd never lack for an activity.

Uffff and I tried to avoid the lobby as much as i could. Lol.

Remember when the change happened I found myself stuck in the lobby. Probably the biggest rejection of my life.

Luckily Wenger14 quickly sorted me out, otherwise who knows where my life would have ended up.

goon You woulda been itlgoon (in the Lobby goon) insteada otfgoon … what a fate

Same. Spent months down there though. You'd all still be posting on AM now if I hadn't hauled myself up by my bootstraps.

I joined in 2010... Holy fuck it's been a while.

I haven't been back to AM since joining here, I must've been on there for 5 years? I remember being part of the inner group whatever it was called. I was done with it and was planning to start a new forum until I found out pepe already did. Time flies

Have to call em by their real name to make sure.

      That you froggy?

Hi guys, hope you're all doing well.

I've been a member of a different Arsenal forum for quite a few years. I thought I'd check this place out to see what the flavour is like.

I've been an Arsenal fan for 30+ years and like to think I know a little about the game in general so hopefully I'll be able to contribute to some interesting conversations on here.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Much appreciated.

Generally I'm not a stats guy in most respects, they've got a place but I think generally your better off trusting your eyes, you know who's playing well and who's not or which side has created the better chances in a match.

Stats and stuff are fine but I also think the individual needs to understand the context of them and I feel at times there's just not that understanding.

I honestly think if if the social media stuff was around in the 90's /early 2000's there would be some hipster coming up with data to complain about Henry's relative weakness in the air or Pire's tackle percentage wins!
