Wow. Just realised that I joined this forum on my birthday in 2010. I was employee number 15. Most of the folks who preceded me are still here. so we are still basically largely the same group of like-minded folks who fled mania.

Time flies... I joined from AM 2 days before you looks like. Back then it was Pepe and a few guys still trying to setup the forum.

Let that be a lesson for all of us in these dark times. No matter what happens with Arsenal, win or lose, life goes on. It's frustrating and would be extremely angering to go another season without a trophy but I'm grateful we're all still here, alive and well for the most part. Our time to celebrate together will come, hopefully very soon.

invisibleman18 i remember getting a PM too. A few of us were disgruntled and didn't like how things were heading there. I remember even volunteering to start a new forum then dula or qs reached out saying Pepe started one already. Feels like yesterday

Just had a look at AM and managed to login to my old account (same username and an old password I used to commonly use). PMs were still there and it was Kami who invited me in the same message with Gazza and a few other usernames I don't really remember.

invisibleman18 I just managed to log back in too but couldn't find any PMs. I remember getting a message from Pep to come and join here - not sure whether it was an email, PM or something else. Anything, slightly freaky to realise I've been on here for over 15 years now - longer than I was on A-M!

Wow, i just logged in over at AM, first time i have been there in almost 10 years. I cant believe i remembered my password. Lol. Now i remember why we migrated here. I can remember being on AM before it was even AM, it was called AVV back when i first joined the community. Damn, im f*ckin old. 😃

I think Ant G invited me if I recall correctly but it has been so long and I can't be bothered logging into A-M again. I jumped over immediately but he himself actually didn't move.

Ant G was a strange one. He and i talked a bit outside the forum and he was always hesitant to bin AM and settle here because he felt a strange loyalty to that place. And even i did for a little while since he and I were almost the last ones there that were running the place. Once the media company took over and Jonathan gave up control, that was the end of it for me, i stopped going there so much and eventually at all.

Probably of no surprise I was worried (pessimistic 😜) about where we were going as a club under Wenger and I just remember Ant G being a bit of a dick about a post just abusing me telling me to fuck off and get out of the forum etc and this from a Mod probably unsurprisingly that was when I bailed .

Somehow just stumbled on this place and saw that many of the names I remembered from when I had enjoyed AM were still around.
