Yeah, after a while, it was pretty much just me and him running the show, but i know he was getting tired of the bullshit and I certainly was too. I hung in over there for a few years even after i came here when it was formed, but i faded from there and ended up spending all my time here. The monetization of that site really killed it once Jonathan sold it.

Me too. Made a friend for life on Arsenal Mania in James and met my missus on the Massive Attack forum, which - apologies everyone - was absolutely the best place on the internet.

And obviously meeting some of you guys has been quite nice too. 😊

There again, you could say I got more than I could have reasonably expected from it!

Should add I also ended up writing about Arsenal largely cos of opportunities given to me by the original Arsenal Mania crew - principally Jinn as I recall. He was a good guy.

@Don Pacifico (and AntG) told me about this place (at the same time).

@James was trying to get me a ticket to Arsenal Celtic in 2009 and sharing the dancing Jesus music website with me.

@RocktheCasbah gave me some info on bars etc ahead of my first trip to the Emirates

Tam had a look through my old PMs and we were trying to meet up at the Emirates Cup in 2009 when I was over there on my post Uni travels (my first time at the Emirates) but think you had phone issues so it didn't happen. The days before WhatsApp and messenger etc and had to rely on texting.
Bit of a shame it hasn't quite worked out meeting anyone from here the times I've been over there (2009 or last year). Next time!
