But I count at least 10 number 8s that moved that's way better than Havertz. And cheaper too.

Isak as a top striker costs just a little more than this number 8 or false 9 hybrid fairy. That's how much we paid for a flop.

portuguese Ryan Fraser has been on fire lately tbf. i would take him as he does provide depth on either flank. our wide options would be sorted for the next few years, and it also accounts for a possible drop off from trossard who's form may plateau

He would be coming here to be a 2nd choice winger. To take Nelson’s spot essentially. Would it be worth the eyeball or whatever critical organ it could cost to bring someone in merely for that role? My it’s not my money attitude is typically reserved to first teamers, not backups.

flobaba I agree. We have to make sure any big outlaysgo straight to strengthening us significantly. For me there are several positions that we should invest in first. Most obvious being CF.

Hope we are keeping a close eye on him and Redondo, we need to move Partey on and Jorginho needs to be moved on in the summer. So opens up a slot for a No.6 next summer, either we get another experienced player in or we need to get a shit hot prospect.
