Big Willie I liked this...and then I corrected myself as it's less about where on the pitch we've allocated resources and more about the fees we've paid/sold for (where I believe we've been sub-par).

I love how people become emotional wrecks every single window. No-one knows why we didn't sign them. The players might not have been interested, we might not have the money, we might not be interested, we might have other targets, who fucking knows, yet fans struggling to cope with the club not purchasing what they want is as sure as the sun rising.

Besides, saying that the right players may not have have been available in historical windows, does not mean that's going to be true for all future windows. To suggest that is laughable.

Either we choose not to sign players for the attack or we don't have enough funds because we spent so much on the defence/goalkeeper/defensive midfield.

Either way it's either a lack of desire to get those players in or a lack of foresight to see we needed attacking reinforcements. Can't tell which one is worse.
