The dribbles completed vs dribbles won stat for Kvara in Serie A this year is a little concerning to me and admittedly surprised me as I haven't watched a ton of his games this year.
72 dribbles attempted; 19 dribbles completed (26%). The lowest dribble completion percentage in Serie A (minimum 40 dribble attempts). For reference, Iliman Ndiaye leads the PL in dribbles attempted at 108 with 49 successful (45%). Saka's got a similar dribbles attempted total in 73 with 37 of them being successful (50%) Probably nothing to be too alarmed at but for someone I've always liked as a dribbler and creator, it does seem like he's having a bit of a down season.
Other potential targets dribbling: Nico Williams - 103 attempts, 37 completed (35%). Take Kubo - 72 attempts, 30 completed (41%). Jamie Gittens - 88 attempts, 43 completed (48%). Omar Marmoush - 78 attempts, 39 completed (50%). Bradley Barcola - 81 attempts, 24 completed (29%).
I did find it interesting in looking through this that almost all of our targets are in the top 5 of their respective leagues in terms of dribbles attempted so its clear that there is a profile we are targeting. Also no surprise but Saka is an elite dribbler when compared globally. Another player that stands out and I still think should be a target for us is Antoine Semenyo (79 attempts, 42 completed - 53%).
