If you don't have money problems you can't have accounting issues. Wolves and Leicester owners recently jointly just wrote off loans of almost 400 million. Kroenke Sporting Enterprise isn't worried about silliness like FFP. Todd Boehly and Chelsea certainly aren't showing any concern about repercussions now or in the future.

FFP is a farce. That's clear as day.

My understanding of Leicester's past summer transfer window was them having accounting issues but not money issues.

Clrnc This whole amortisation wheeze only works if the level of fees continues to explode, so some clubs will keep on with it. But arithmetically there's no way out of it for them unless in seven years clubs like Everton are willing to pay them £200m for players like Gallagher.

samthegooner I think he's incredible too. I don't think we will win Haaland's heart in all honesty, but realistically Foden, Alvarez and Lewis for example will be ridiculous haul.

MistaT no thanks. We've already bought one old geezer this January we need to get back to squad building rather than papering the cracks in the summer. If we signed a 32 year old winger I'd start to really worry we were going backwards.
