Panda it's the length of the contract I think. Look at Timber, you never know in life really. You get a 4 year deal, tear you knee, chances are your lvl will go down, or you won't reach your full potential. The next deal...well it won't be at the same lvl....
Look at Caicedo, 300k, until 2031 with an option for 1 year. Thats huge money

Don't be surprised if this is him trying to force the price down. If he is available cheaper he can get clubs to make it up with a signing bonus or higher salary.

This is the problem with putting people on big salaries and long contracts.

Saudi are building a complete new City by 2030 and are competing with Dubai. They are going to run out of oil soon so need these alternative revenue streams which football/sports is part of.

They got endless money and this league is here to stay and will only get bigger and better. Wait till a big player in his absolute peak joins (prob next summer) and then shit just got real.

Give it 5 years and we will all be watching it.
