flobaba I think it probably was Nico Williams, in terms of transfer fee and quality. He comes with his downsides as well, high salary and he has been very hot/cold this season. Still for Spain when surrounded by top players you can see he thrives.
I do really like Leao but there are concerns about his mentality. I think this guy on his day is the best LW in the world. Gittens is someone who I really think will explode in the next year or so, gives us a different threat to Martinelli and a very good different option. I also like Semenyo, will come in straight away and slot in imo. Rodrygo is the most high profile but I worry about the physical side, this league is rough and players will go for him, how will he handle that? Also seen many off the left he works better with an overlapping LB which we don't have, some suggest playing off the striker is Rodrygo's best position. I also am a fan of Eze, not sure how much Palace would ask for. I know Olise had a clause but don't know if Eze does.
So to answer your question I don't know lol. But there are a few decent options for us to consider. Might be why we aren't rushing in but we need to be careful because options can quickly slip out of our hands.
Sicario2 Last summer yes we fucked up big time, our choices were so bad it cost us the league and possibly the CL. No indication this time round we are only in for Nico, there are other options which are under consideration. I think we are prioritising getting the CF over the line first while doing background work on the LW.
