@HomeSteak your transfer updates are always well received, especially since I don't use twitter that often.

Can I make a small suggestion? Whenever you make one of these roundup posts, if some time passes and you want to add some new stuff, can you make another post.

I find myself having to scroll back wondering whet someone is responding to only to realise the response is to a new rumour in a post I already read before.

Liverpool ITKs are having a field day with the Isak stuff, I don't know if there is anything there but if they get Isak and we aren't in the conversation there needs to be a serious conservation about the direction this club is going.

First, not a chance. "If he is available" negates the whole conversation. They got CL football, Isak is not available. Second, i dont care how much money they havent spent over the last couple windows, there is no way they are spending 120 for Wirtz and then 130+ for Isak.. (plus, whatever else they are spending on other players). This is 100% fabricated nonsense.

USArsenal They'll probably sell Darwin and maybe another of their wide players so they'll potentially have a lot of money coming in soon. They hardly spent much last summer and been a while but showed with Van Dijk and Allison they are prepared to go big when needed.

If Liverpool links are true and Isak is actually for sale, we need to blow Liverpool out of the water, no excuses... One of the few truly elite strikers around instead of the averageness we have been linked to... AND stopping our rivals from getting him. A real 6 pointer of a signing.

Doc Part of me thinks this is just engagement farming for clicks from Liverpool fans but then again a couple months ago if you had told me Wirtz would be signing for Liverpool I probably would not have believed you!

beautiful. as an american i prefer the way we deal with agents (and contract disclosures), but if you're going to have a shady system at least let your family benefit.

Liverpool have been heavily after Isak for a long time but I get the feeling they decided he was off the table when they went and signed Wirtz.

It would be a stunning level of ambition if Liverpool we're in for Isak and Wirtz. Enviously stunning.

I'd imagine that right now they don't have the PSR room to make that move. Its possibly something they are still interested in pursuing if they can extract maximum value from their out goings. And even then they'd need Newcastle to sell to them and they'd need Isak to chose them over anyone else. I'm sure Liverpool want to keep it as an option but I don't know that its realistic this summer. While they still have Salah they probably wait another season for him too.

the leagues cap agent commission and the athlete pays the agent. the cap for the nba is 4% of the contract value and the nfl it's 3%. mlb and nhl don't have caps, but it's somewhere in between 3-5% and the player also pays.

to get $8m (and that's over the length of the contract, not upfront) an nba agent's client would have to sign a $200m contract.
