Klaus Plenty of players who would choose Arsenal over Liverpool. One of them is coming over from San Sebastian soon. In fact, I cannot recall any signing in recent years that could be construed as Liverpool signing one of the biggest names in the world.

Sicario2 I don't think its snoozing as much as we wont pay him £20m a year. Havertz is on less than £15m and I think he's our top earner.

Thought so at the time too and haven't seen anything from him at Juve to change my mind. Too much focus on his physical profile and age, just like way too much is made out of Sesko's height and young age right now (no other comparisons between them necessarily).

Everyone think they've found the new Ibrahimovic now as soon as they find a huge guy with a good first touch, and I can't help but feel it's similar to how Premier League in the early 00s got flooded with cheap Patrick Vieira clones who had a fraction of his ability.

Sicario2 I have no idea, I haven't seen enough of him to really comment.

I'm not against investing in Sesko for the long term though, I'm just against the idea of him starting next season. I don't think he's anywhere near good enough to win the league with and that should be the bottom line for any new signing. Arsenal is not in a position anymore where they can throw a season away just because they're betting on the future.

Klaus, mate... You literally contradicted yourself here. You haven't seen enough of him to comment, but then you say he isn't anywhere near good enough. I know you're all aboard the Gyokeres train (and I'd be fine if we got him), but you can't really say both of these things in the same post.

Every time I watched him back in the day he was dirt. He'd jog back to his own half so he's unmarked look for the ball from the CB pass it straight back to him and then slowly work his way back up the pitch again.

It was a ploy because the CB wouldn't follow him that far. And his touch was rotten so if he was coming back unmarked theirs a chance he could receive the ball without giving it away.

Klaus really? Looking at the other top goalscorers in Europe the season he moved, most of the options were already established at big clubs - beyond that, it was people like Nunez, David, Martinez and others who haven't achieved much since.

Haaland, Lewa, Raphina, Mane all moved too. Ekitike was going out on loan. Loads of opportunities that year. We signed, Jesus, Vieira, Zinchenko and Turner 🤦🏻‍♂️

USArsenal I meant I haven't seen enough of him to know whether he'll be a hospital case like Diaby. I've seen enough of Sesko to doubt that he's going to be one of the best players in Premier League next season.

Klaus kid is going to be money. He has range to work all over the field. He has good feet in the box. A giant with good reflexes, so dangerous in the air. And his shooting technique is right up there. He’d probably have the best shooting with Ethan on the team. I like the player profile a lot.
