That's a shame. I've always been impressed with him especially every time I watch Milan play.

JazzG 100%. Even if he plays at LW, he makes us so much better. This is ultimately the end result of not moving for the attack last summer. If we had gotten a ST last summer, we could focus on recruiting Wirtz this summer but now we have other holes we need to reserve budget for that likely prevents us from any serious Wirtz pursuit.

I'd argue it's not even in the making- he's been dominant creatively and with his output for the majority of the last two league seasons. Arguably the best creative midfielder in the world already at 22.
